Fully Alive: Family Life Curriculum and Strands/Themes
“The glory of God is man and woman fully alive, but life for them consists in seeing God revealed in his Word.”
- St. Irenaeus, Against Heresies, IV.20.7
In loving the world into being, all God wants is that we be fully alive. Fully Alive: A Family Life Program is sponsored by the Assembly of Catholic Bishops of Ontario. This program presents a distinctively Catholic view of human life, sexuality, marriage, and family and its goal is to complement the efforts of families and to support what parents are doing at home.
The Ontario Grades 1-8 Family Life Education Curriculum is organized into five strands or themes:
Topics covered in the Fully Alive program will also be integrated with the health program. |
Coat of Arms: Grade 4/5 (2000-2003)
