Physical activity or exercise is crucial for promoting healthy growth and development and can also lead to stronger bodies (bones, muscles, joints, heart), better posture and balance, reduced risk of developing several diseases (e.g., type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis), increased focus and concentration, improved moods and lower stress levels, increased energy levels, better sleep, and increased social interaction with others. Aim for a daily total of 30 minutes of physical activity for increased health benefits.
